You are nothing

You take yourself to be something.
But in reality, you are nothing.
This is the hardest thing to accept since you are left with nothing to hold, not even with the one that holds, not even with a center.
And then only irritating unbearable emptiness remains. When this unbearableness turns into serenity, not even bliss, just quietness, then you know that the last remains of you mind have gone, but then you are not there anymore to know it.

Nice post

I like what Riktam Kantu has to say here. The trouble with the ego is that we become locked in a mode of semi-consciousness. Too much 'consciousness' is painful, because we have to face all our problems and issues head-on. And too much unconsciousness is painful, because we lose touch with reality. We are lost in limbo, in nowhere'sville, and we have to maintain that balance or suffering results (which it does anyway, as maintaining such a delicate balance is impossible). Breaking out of this vicious cycle, this habitual mode of being and relating, is easier said than done, but it can be done, as long as we are willing to surrender what makes up "us", and then decline to re-create it anew.

This is so beautiful. It really touched my heart.
Have been through stages of reaching that emptiness ,which is also such a fullness, panicking and rushing to fill it up,till I've become comfortable with that space which is "no-space".
Silent, peaceful, serene,as best as words can describe the absolutely undescribable.
Thank you.
