People often confuse sages with saints.
A sage is someone whose sense of authorship is gone.
In my definition, a saint is someone whose behavior embodies the highest values of the group.So a saint is always about behavior.
And we often mistake,a saint and a sage;
and we get disappointed when he’s not a saint.
You have a fantasy of what this understanding is.You have a fantasy ,of when consciousness evolves,its going to look like this. And its going to be your picture of what is right and good.

Define "exist"
Define "exist" and I will answer your question.
Actually, define "exist" and you will get the answer

Proof of the existence of GOD
The difference between a Living Body and Dead Body is ENERGY and that ENERGY is GOD. So there is no question of asking whether GOD exists or not.
This is not a proof of anything
This is not a proff of God or anything. In the same way I can say:
The difference between a Living Body and Dead Body is ENERGY and that ENERGY is Bobo the Clown. So there is no question of asking whether Bobo the Clown exists or not.
Or
The difference between clean feet and dirty feet is this black dirt between the fingers and that dirt is GOD. So there is no question of asking whether GOD exists or not.
If you have to ask, you aren't that far along in your sadhana.
Hari OM!
Say you are enjoying a nice ice cream cone on a warm day. You see it in your hand and can taste it's flavour and savour it's coolness and delight. Is it real? Does it exist?
Now, you are finally and regretably done with the ice cream. Gone is the flavour, the texture, along with the smile of delight from your face. Does it exist? Prove it.
It takes the brain and the mind a very long time to discern what is real and what is not, but when you finally come to the answer, (it even agrees with science), in that you can not destroy matter and energy, which is what you, I and God are.
Does God exist is a question for the un-realized, for the most part. But, look at your hand. No matter how far along we have advanced, no one has ever made a hand. If you placed all the components of a Boeing 747 on the ground in front of you, do you think in several million years they will all of a sudden come together in some whirl-wind and create an airplane by happen-stance?
If you need time to answer that question, you aren't that far along in your sadhana.
Behold God, Hope Yoo Are Not Blind!
Poet Choudappa said,
“No use, ‘God! God!’ if you shout;
From Heaven, He will never come out.
Whoever is merciful and generous by birth,
Know him as God on the earth.”
