Biography

Vinny Pinto, who goes by the name Vinny (some call him Vinny the Pooh), is a mystic and spiritual healer who lives in a secluded wooded Appalachian mountain valley deep in the heart of the eastern United States. He also appears to be a researcher and consultant in scientific fields and in alchemy and 'strange science' fields.

Vinny, according to many sources, has university undergraduate level training in electrical engineering, physics and astrophysics, and graduate-level training in acupuncture, clinical psychology and the health-related sciences, and also in the field of human aging. He has a Masters-level graduate degree from a university in western Pennsylvania.

While he seems to be primarily a mystic and spiritual guide and teacher, and a spiritual healer, he seems to have also worked extensivly, and still does nowadays to some degree, as a scientific and engineering (electrical) consultant.

Vinny is a virtual recluse and seldom allows any visitors and hardly ever takes any phone calls. Although he does have a public facebook page located at:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Vinny-Pinto-Public-Page/284608972816
He also allows subscribrs at his private FB page, at https://www.facebook.com/vinnypinto

Various sages reportedly claim that Vinny is one of the top 16 most enlightened people on the planet called earth, not saying which one of the 16 is him, we are pretty sure it is the 16th. Some say that Vinny takes credit for being the mentor of "Rick the Immortal" who is also listed on this site, even though Rick disavows any such thing.

On more than one occasion and on several of his yahoo email list groups Vinny is reported as saying that “Sailor Bob Adamson has a special place in his heart”. This gives us a big clue as to his spiritual leanings. He seems also to have great admiration for Ramana Maharshi and Lester Levenson, and for Padre Pio. It is said that he spent many years in Zen training also. Vinny has an entire email list group devoted to his teacher the physicist-turned-spiritual teacher, Lester Levenson, and the related Release Technique.

On a more practical note if you will, Vinny is claimed by some to be the world's foremost formulator of alchemical products such as his ever-popular Minor Mineral Elixir which Rick the Immortal suggest he renames “Liquid Release” because of the powerful releasing (letting go) ability it provided for him. "Spiritual Surrender in a Bottle" would also be a relevant name not even mentioning the powerful physical regenerative effects.

Some reports say that Vinny's childhood was racked with tremendous pain and suffering and many health afflictions. At the same time, since the age of six, Vinny has known of his deep connection with Spirit, which he sometimes refers to as Supreme Heart, or Divine Mother. Through his deep connection with Source he has come to intimate knowledge of health, nutrition, diet, and alternative healing methods, and many forms of release/surrender and related heart coherence methods. Getting rid of all his former health problems he now finds himself in a state superior of health, love, and grace, and is happy to share all this information on his websites (too many to list) and on his e-mail list groups, and sometimes in lectures and books.

He says that he has had numerous enlightenment experiences in is his life, and that he lives his life in com[plete surrender to Divinity, in service to Divinity.

Perhaps the easiest way to get a taste of the flavor of his spiritual connection is to visit his Receiving Divine Love and Grace through Vinny website, at http://www.divine-heart.org/love-grace.html , where the site invites you, free of charge, to look at a photograph of Vinny and have a chance to receive some of the Divine love and grace that people say flows through him. It seems that many people seem to have reported that just by being near Vinny for a little while, or by talking to him on the phone for a few minutes, that they end up releasing a lot of their inner karmic emotional-mental gunk, and they feel lighter, happier and more at peace rather quickly.

Teachings

Vinny seems to largely follow a path of spiritual surrender, surrender to Supreme Heart and Divine Mother. He talks a lot about heart-centeredness and surrender. He sometimes refers people to the teachings of Ramana Maharshi, and also Lester Levenson. He seems to have some rspect for Zen Buddhist traditions. He also seems to have great affection for (no longer in the body) Dr. Ramamurti Mishra, who sometimes used the name Sri Brahmananda Sarasvati, and for Mishra's teacher Bhagavan Das (1740-1957).

He seems to be very allergic to the term "guru" and to the idea of having "followers" of any kind. He appears to do his best to keep most spiritual seekers at a distance; he rarely accepts phone calls and dos not allow visitors to the monastic mountain setting where he lives, but for a few close friends.

But, he does have a new (as of early 2013) webpage where people can get a taste of the flavor of his spiritual connection. You can visit his Receiving Divine Love and Grace through Vinny website, at http://www.divine-heart.org/love-grace.html , where the site invites you, free of charge, to look at a photograph of Vinny and have a chance to receive some of the Divine love and grace that people say flows through him.

It appears that he started as an engineer (electrical, electronics) and then later became a scientist and got a grad degree in the sciences, somewhere around the early 1990s. His biography mentions that he holds a master's degree in science. He has stated that he still works to a small extent as a consulting scientist/engineer; he seems to charge a lot of money per hour for his consulting. He sometimes, apparently due to Divine guidance, creates exotic alchemical products that he makes avalilable to only a very select and restricted pool of pre-screened qualified persons, because he imposes all sorts of prerequisite requirements upon those wishing access to these elixir of life type alchemical substances.

Vinny is also a sungazer. He seems to have started sungazing in 1987 and a few sungazing videos available on Internet feature interviews with him. Peter Sorcher of Peter Sorcher films, who produced the feature-length documentary film on sungazing called something like Eat the Sun, has publicly credited Vinny with helping him find and connect with most of the sungazers whom he invterviwed in his film.
