Many of Swamiji's teachings are very interesting and his point of view also. The idea of a Universal Spirituality is also a good idea.

Don't we have enought religions?

To me it smells like yet another organized religion wannabe (e.g. why others are wrong, worship of some Messiah, the religion of all religions, no true photo of this person etc.).

Haven't we got enough religions already ? Haven't we got enough troubles on earth caused by the existing religions? Does a religion that pretends to include all other religions mean that it includes also all the troubles they are causing?

Anyway, the texts are way too long and too tedious for me to read.

I agree that his texts are too long, for those who that like reading long texts. If he wants to start a be it. As long as there are people who want to express their beliefs and people who agree there will always be religion. At least as long as the majority continues in believing in a exterior truth.

Datta Religion

[It is not a religion. It is a group of people, who worship their contemporary human incarnation of God in any generation irrespective of their caste, creed, religion and nationality.]

What is the eligibility for the admission into our religion of Guru Datta? The eligibility is that you should be a living being. Even animals and birds are eligible to reach God irrespective of their qualities. Even serpent, spider and the elephant got salvation in Shri Kala Hasthi. The serpent has all bad qualities.

God did not insist the serpent to get rid of all the bad qualities. Even if God says, the serpent is unable to understand and put the efforts. When such a serpent is eligible, why not a man? All the people are depressed and dejected with the eligibility conditions stipulated by various religions. For example, if an Institution stipulates the eligibility condition as that one should remove his head and come, nobody can be admitted.

Similarly, the religions stipulate the removal of all the bad qualities, which is impossible. Only a temporary control is possible which is necessary for you to live in this world with peace. This control is possible.

In our religion also we are stipulating this condition, which is possible. So, in our Datta religion, the eligibility condition is that, if your bad qualities do not disturb the world, the Lord has no personal objection to them and you need not even control them. Moreover, they will help you in spiritualism.

One and Only One God

The same Swami appeared in the decorations of Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha, Scientist, Rama, Krishna, Shiva etc., to show that the same God exists in different incarnations.

Unfortunately in the pictures of Gods [or the past human incarnations] such a concept is not obvious. When we see different pictures or images of Gods, they appear quite different from each other and give the psychological impression that the ‘Gods’ are different.

Even in Hinduism, in which the same God is supposed to have taken different forms, this concept is not clearly reflected. The face being the important identity of any person, uniformity in the faces of different incarnations of God is essential.

This alone will bring out the true concept. It has not been done with the idea of self-projection or self-advertisement. This is done with the background of the most important concept that all the forms of God, not only in Hinduism but also in other religions, are merely different roles taken up by the same Actor, who is the Universal God.

I was too harsh in condemning

OK I accept that. I was too harsh in condemning it.

And even a religion must not be negative (for example - what is taking place around Meher Baba is some kind of a religion and it is a marvelous thing).

I will even give it a try and read one of the blog post. What is the most recommended to start with?

A religion of one person

Luz76's picture

It is a "religion" of one person who is fond of writing endless tedious texts, putting a disguised synthesized photo, masquerading as if he is a devotee that posts these texts in the name of the maste

Dubious Knowledge

Nathyogi's picture

Datta Swami claims himself as a complete incarnation of God who has come to teach divine knowledge to the masses.

Complete bullshit!

Actually all renowned masters did NOT have any guru - Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, Mahavira, Ramana Mharshi and so on.

Re: Complete bullshit!

What is in the mind that only comes out. For a mind that nurtures bullshit, all is bullshit only.

It is your lack of understanding of truth in saying that They did not have any Guru.

The second thing is that neither you nor anybody can be equated with Buddha, Jesus, Mahavira, Muhammad is an established fact in the world.

None can imitate Them is a well known truth to the wise and genuine seekers of truth.

Only fools cheer at, praise, honour, respect and follow someone who imitates Them.
