Emy Blesio Gayatri Devi is the founder and president of C.U.I.D.Y. Yoga Confederation, The World Community of Indian Culture & Traditional Disciplines, and of Suryanagara-Ashram International Yoga School, Milan – Italy.

Initiated as Gayatri Devi at Shanti Kunj, Haridwar, she has an experience in Yoga, Culture, Spirituality, of more than 45 years. She lives in Milan, Italy, where she runs her Yoga school, Suryanagara-Ashram.

She is President of the International Yog Confederation, Delhi, of the WIN - Women International Network, of the World Movement Indian Fine Arts and Ambassador of E.Y.F. European Yoga Federation and World Movement Yoga & Ayurveda.

Creator & Art Director of the Indian festival: West meets East – MITICAINDIA and the Symposium of Spirituality, she has written and published six books and she is finishing her new book “Lila-Yoga” dedicated to parents and children.

In 2006 in Mumbai she was awarded “honoris causa” of the title of Pandit because of her work and her involvement in the field of instruction and culture, in 2008 she received the title of Mahamandaleshwar and was elected President of the International Yog Confederation of New Delhi. In 2009 she was appointed President of WIN Women International Network.

In September 2010 she received the Feroz Gandhi Sadgi Samman 2010 Award dedicated to who have set examples in public life. She was selected by the committee headed by Shri Arjun Singh under the kind patronage of Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Hon'ble President UPA.

In Milan, Italy, 2011 at the House of World Cultures, the UPF-Universal Peace Federation in the International Women's Day organized by the ONU, gives to Emy Blesio the title of Ambassadors for Peace on the motivation: for her many initiatives in promoting Peace and Reconciliation, and her constant passion in doing so.

As it is in the true spirit of Yoga, where she is called, agrees to hold Yoga training Teachers Courses, and, for spreading Yoga, Fine Arts, Culture and Spirituality, organizes conferences, events worldwide.
