Teachings
Chaganti Koteswara Rao suggests not to read the Ramayana, the Great epic of India, with a view that Rama is a God. Instead, he encourages to read it as if a person by name Rama lived and showed us the way as to how we have to live.
He argues that the effect of hearing or reading the Ramayana would be left within ourselves and slowly self-enquiry will start within us.
According to Chaganti Koteswara Rao, in order to understad any Purana of India, first one should know how to read the Ramayana. After reading the Ramayana, we can then understand other texts such as the Siva Puranam, Bhagavatam, and others.
