Biography
Ananta is a disciple of Mooji. His spiritual quest began in 1998, at the age of 23.
He spent the initial few years involved with Sri Sri Ravishankar's Art of Living Foundation. At one point, he seriously contemplated becoming a teacher of the Art of Living, but life led him in a different direction when he came across the teachings of Nisargadatta Maharaj and later, Ramana Maharshi and Papaji.
He was deeply inspired by Nisargadatta's book "I Am That". He also spent some time with Ramesh Balsekar and occasionally attended his satsangs in Mumbai.
His search finally led him to his guru, Mooji, in January 2009. The instant Ananta met Mooji he felt a deep sense of having come home. He experienced a complete sense of surrender to Mooji and in his presence, he felt he discovered that which he was seeking. With Mooji's blessings, Ananta has been sharing satsangs since 2013.
Teachings
'Don't believe in your next thought' - With this simple, immediate and direct pointing Sri Ananta guides sincere spiritual aspirants to awaken to our ever-present innate Godliness.
Few pointings of Sri Ananta are:
-The instant we label something as 'I', the 'Other' is born. That is duality.
-Through all our stories, beliefs and appearances, we have been the untouched awareness. Nothing can change that.
-Let all feelings and thoughts dance for you; you don't dance for them. This entire creation is a dance which appears for you; you don't dance for it. You are the steady one.
-If you were to believe in any choice at all, then believe in the choice of letting go of your thoughts. It is the simplest and most powerful practice.
-Let everything be exactly as it is. It's not something to do in the future, but right now. Leave everything exactly as it is.
-Stop everything. For a moment lets sit together with nothing. Nowhere to go, nothing to do. Everything gone, nothing remains. Taste this moment, this is joy. This is where we meet and forever rest in peace. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti
