Working with Emptiness at Home

Hi,

I am new to this site, joined today. I am really keen to find some home-study type courses that focus specifically on emptiness, or have a good section on emptiness that I can follow. I aim to go on retreat when time permits, but in the meantime I am spending time reading about Emptiness as best I can but would like some more guidance.

Thanks for any tips on where to find such information,

D.

Which emptiness are you referring to?

Welcome aboard! :-)

By emptiness do you mean the concept of the empty nature of things (that no form object exists autonomously by it own like in Buddhism) or the feeling of emptiness?

If it is the concept of the empty nature of things, I would recommend you to read the superb article in http://www.gurusfeet.com/blog/deception-called-form . It is the best I have ever read about the subject.

If you mean the feeling of emptiness then http://www.gurusfeet.com/blog/fear-emptiness and http://www.gurusfeet.com/forum/nothingness are recommended.

Enjoy!

Apologies, Emptiness of Inherent Existence/Buddhism

Hi,

My apologies - I did mean in terms of Buddha Dharma, and not the feeling of emptiness.

Thanks for the link I will check that out now.

Metta,

Nick.

buddha (wholeness ) appears in emptiness of space.

Here emptiness refers to no more physical and mental vibrations in the space so that the wisdom dawns to enable oneself to realise one's Natural Nature.

Be in the remembrance of Easiness.
