Why some people are fortunate and others are not?

According to me the definition of good fortune is: one who
enjoys good health, has the physical and mental capabilities
of achieving his goals in life, has good appearance, has
happiness in mind and is not prone to accidents…I think
such a person can be called a fortunate person. Whether
anyone believes me or not, I have learnt from this life that
each person is born with a balance of fortune or misfortune.
I understood that sum total of a man’s personality and life,
depends upon three factors: one: GENETIC FACTOR, two:
ENVIRONMENT FACTOR and three: HARDWORK FACTOR.
And all these three factors are not in one’s hand. One cannot take birth with good genetic qualities of one’s choice. One cannot as a child arrange a good environment for himself.
He lives where he is born, in his family and goes to the
school where his parents put him into and plays with such
kids who are available. Ability to work hard also depends
upon his genetic qualities and environments like his health,
nutrition, and motivation and may be many other factors.
But all such factors are not his choice but he has to live
with them as ‘chance’ grants him. So this chance is luck or
fortune and some are fortunate and some are not fortunate.
So the question is why some are fortunate and some are
not. What can be done to become fortunate…I have the answer…

Incorrect

The reasons whether someone is fortunate or note are not the ones you mention. They are simply whether one accepts his/her life circumstances or not. Period. Look around you and you will see that to be fortunate has nothing to do with health, physical and mental capabilities of achieving his goals in life, good appearance and so on.

Go deeper. Don't get stuck in the conventional perception. And please, if your aim is to sell me your book, just be honest and tell me.

Thank you for your frank opinion. I did make the mistake of not asking for email ids of readers for mailing a copy of my book as the book containing 60 pages could not be uploaded here. Arising out of your comments I have done it now.

Please try to ask a person with disabilities of vision, hearing or physical or mental disabilities as to what and how he feels about his life. Most suicides are because of such reasons. I know because I was born with congenital nystagmus with abnormally weak vision and with deficiency of hormone called serotonin causing abnormally poor memory, mental concentration and simiolar other physical disabilities.

Some of the most happy

Some of the most happy people I know are disabled. Most of the most miderable people I know are rich and healthy.

What you try to claim is the standard old conditioning of society which is known for long time (since the 50s) by fact to be untrue according to basic psychological research works. It is almost by claiming that earth is flat. Do some checking, sorry to spoil you the party. Outer circumstances have nothing to do with suicide. If one has the tendency to suicide and depression, he/she will find the reasons to do so.

Rev. Sister,

I get the impression that you have been deeply involved in this field and carry quite lot of legitimate experience and I believe you are in a position to clarify many of my doubts. Since I have been a sufferer for many long years, attempted suicide number of times, but by the Blessings of Almighty, I have been able to stand on my feet. Therefore, I beg you to kindly let me know your email id so that I can send the attachment detailing my real life experiences, which I strongly believe have benefited me.

The real fortune

The real fortune is the understanding that to be fortunate has nothing to do with outer circumstances. This is the epiphany, the turning point, the realization. This is not yet another spiritual theory, it is a workable fact. A rich healthy man can be the most miserable person on earth if he wishes to, a leper can be at the top of the world if he wishes to.

The way to this realization is called... acceptance of what is. And it is among the simplest and easiest ways I have ever came across.

in terms of material wealth

in terms of material wealth, not everyone is given the opportunity to be part of a wealthy family but through hard work and perseverance it is not impossible to earn a fortune. What we must do, is simply to accept whatever our condition is right now and be able to come up with plans and solutions to every problem we have. We must also try to have an optimistic point of view since it may also contribute to your success in the future..:)

Fortune and not fortune

Yes some people are fortunate and some people are not fortunate. When an individual is born he is associated with a kundli, horoscope, based on planetary positions man kind gets fortune infortune. When man is in raja yoga http://youtu.be/kgd2mx-eiEk he experiences all success and progress in life. When he has planetary combinations for wealth http://youtu.be/vef_cvdctOQ he gets rich by fortune. So when a man is born based on his kundli, planetary positions he will have results.
