Is there anything all spiritual people can agree on?

Nothing
A very very good question.
And if there is not (and of course there is not, we are talking about humans :-) then it means there is no definition possible to the word "spiritual".
Why is agreement important?
Why is agreement important?
That there is something beyond
The BELIEF that there is something beyond.
- or let's make it even softer -
The SUSPICION that there is something beyond.
- or even more softer -
The HOPE that there is something beyond.
I disagree! :)
I disagree! :)
Repent in the name of the lord!
Then I have a belief/suspicion that you are not spiritual.

A - How do you know that God exists?
B - It's written in the bible
A - But how do you know that what's written in the bible is true?
B - The bible was written by God so of course it is true!
You really don't get the
You really don't get the whole humor concept, do you? :(
I don't know what the bible dialog has to do with me or this discussion. Kinda like the sex thang, I just can't seem to relate. Have you now pegged me as a bible thumper? Help me out here.
I think you are the one who doesn't get
The bible dialog relates to my own humorous reply. It's a famous example given in logic classes to demonstrate circular argument like the one I did...
Never mind.
Yes, I'm familiar with the
Yes, I'm familiar with the example given, but my comment had nothing to do with circular arguments. I'll accept that you thought it did as an explanation.
So, what was the meaning of "Then i have a belief/suspicion that you are not spiritual"?
Was that part of the joke somehow?
In our...
In our endless attempts to be more than we really are, we are less than we really are.

all are one and the same
Om tat sat !!!
Excellent suggestion
Excellent suggestion, I must say.
Their defined self image
The only common thing among spiritual people is maybe that they all define themselves as spiritual people, their defined self image as 'spiritual persona"
SPIRITUAL QUARY
All the spiritual people have one thing in common, that is SPIRITUAL QUARIES.
Unconditional Love.
Unconditional Love.
What every spiritual seeker
What every spiritual seeker has in common is delusion.
after achieving self realization
after getting self realization all the self-realized persons may agree on one subject of self knowledge, self identity, self bliss.
hiiiiiii
i think there is one must in the path of spirituality...which most of us neglect and thats why there is a great search for a true guru and right literature...
i will take the example of mahatma gandhi....for me he was the most successful pursuer of spirituality in the recent past....
he never had one guru in his life..many were there...his mother, his companions, his father...and many others..
but in my view the concept which took him so near to the spiritual enlightenment was his courage to put what he believed in practice and analyzing everything over those beliefs...
if we dare to do that we all will get what is required.
Guru of Mahatma Gandhi
Mahatma Gandhi was a born spiritualist (religious temperament) and he practiced truth, non-violence from his childhood. Yoga has has eight stages(steps) out of which first is called Yama. Yama is of five kinds which are truth, non-violence etc. Next step of Yoga is Niyama and these are also five. Mahatma Gandhi was following all these 10 principles of yoga. His auto-biography 'MY EXPERIMENTS WITH TRUTH' has been an authenticated record of naked truth.
Referring to 'An Autobiography of A Yogi', Yogananda Paramahansa was the spiritual Guru of Mahatma Gandhi. Shri Ram Chandra the God was ISHTA-DEVA of Mahatma Gandhi.
As per the workshop conducted through Sahaja Yoga Mahatma Gandhi was found self-realized soul.
accept everything - Kingdom of Lord is infinite.
Every one has to agree on everything . Because Everything , is Contained inside the Kingdom of Lord .
where does Kingdom of Lord finishes , it is infinity ?
So one has to accept everything in the Kingdom of Lord , & one Lord itself.
So one has to accept this infinite kingdom of lord & those who does never accept this is where the Pains of Human kind starts.
There Should Be Spiritual Agreement!
According tho the definition of spirit my life has taught me, the intended comprehension of the symbols existence has provided to reveal the purpose and why of itself, there has to be a Zeroversal truth. [The reason it should be called Zeroversal rather than Universal is because adding uni to negative uni we get zero.] Therefore, there should be an agreement among spiritual people, however, among those who claim to be spiritual, for any actual spiritual person there will be a multitude that are only claiming to be spiritual.
Becoming spiritual is like fruit ripening on any tree, there will first be only one naturally ripen, which excludes worm ripe, fruit before any others ripens. Then a couple of others will ripen and the number of others will increase until they all are ripe. Man-in-mass only began to become spiritual during soul harvesting time which happens during every civilization's end and maybe some few during this material civilization.

Question
What are the different kind of spiritual practices? And which spiritual practices would you recommend for begginers?
Your Questions
Higiuyama,
There are as many spiritual practices as there are spiritual people, each spiritual person has the path they are directed by spirit to follow is the reason. If anyone tells you there is certain things one myst do to be spiritual they are in error. My 40+ years of being spiritual have taken me from being a Christian Sunday School teacher to preacher to the life of a nomad for about 3 & 1/2 years, then through a time of trying my faithfulness [my website calls "the battle is on"] and now to opposing the establishment. Therefore, each person will be led by spirit from the place they become spiritually conceived [Christianity's metaphor of "rebirth" I call metamorphosis] through whatever it is their journey has in store for them.
The thing I recommend for beginners is be sure the spirit reveals to you that it is actually "the spirit," since it is invisible, by giving it issues beyond your ability for it to prove that it is able to protect you on the path you are about to embark.
