Indian people and inconsistency

Indian people are consistent in only one thing: inconsistency.

This is why they find it so hard to obey to the law.

A trick here, a trick there, bakshish here, bakshish there, tika tika.

And to obey to the truth.

Sab Kutch Milega. Same same but different. Unity with God.

Maybe they just have a bad memory rather than having difficulty in being diligent.

While in the secular daily life they can still manage with the bending of the law, bending the truth poses a critical hurdle in their spiritual path.

like children...

And they are like small children, never maturing. There is a nice side to this - the joyfulness and lighteness, however there is the downside aspects - they are not serious, not responsible, not reliable.

The luck of the Indians is the Indian women - all that was said above fits only the men. Sometimes I meet an Indian couple and it seems for a minute that the lady is the mother of the man.

I don't know if this is the right place to post this comment about Indians. Everybody knows that corruption is rampant in India but worse than corruption is the squalor and filth and heaps of garbage and putrefying dead carcasses you find on the roads. Buffaloes have a right of way. My servant woman was only this morning knocked down when she was sideswiped by a buffalo and twisted her ankle as a result. Excrement and people defecating on the side of the road is a common but disgusting sight where ever one goes in India. Loud speakers blaring out horrible music is another nightmare. Let us all educate our fellow Indians to keep this country clean. Let us bring pressure on our municipalities to keep India clean. I think our teachers have an important role to play in this regard. I appeal to our politicians to provide toilets to every Indian home in this country. Defecating and urinating and spitting on the roads should be outlawed in this country after such amenities are provided to all Indians. Even our rural areas need to be kept clean. Let us all together make rural India prosperous and clean. The well being of our farmers is our own well being. God bless India. Let Hinduism emphasize love for all humanity and cleanliness above all other virtues. Let us teach our Hindus to love and co exist happily with the minorities in this country. Let us show the world that we Hindus are secular in our thinking and love for all is our primary religious value. God bless India and all those who live in this country.
