In spite of all his limitation, a wonderful power is hidden in the man's soul. What makes man helpless is ignorance of his free will. Free will is the basis of the whole life...

Not so much, really.

What makes man helpless is that he IS helpless. Hehe. The individual, separate, volitional person is an illusion along with any sort of free will assigned to it. This is the ignorance of which you speak.

Oneness is the Truth, separation is the lie. How many times have we heard this?

Phroggy

your clarification is refreshing. words tend to slip through my fingers these days- playing an odd game of solitare- but kinda fun! indulging me as I fade away. this fading is nothing to fear- liberating, tickling, silly!

it's funny walking around on my knees. still a few notes left on this banged up bugle.

thanks for your insights and talent- and the speaking the truth of this song- which we both know is always, Taps.

Waiting without waiting

Yes, or as I like to say, milling around the gallows steps selling enlightenment buttons, trying to work up the courage to walk up the steps. Hehe. This 'banged up bugle' doesn't mind getting slapped around a bit here, but it's nice to meet someone who understands. Thanks.

Working up the courage

You aren't (volitionally) going anywhere ;-). From here, folks are often dragged kicking and screaming up the steps. One waits for Self to take in self. There is nothing to do but be still.

Nice!

Being still Is the noose. That's why the library is full of books. Ah

but to be fair- understanding often carries the hardest blow. just don't be prepared-
