I have had several episodes of what the doctors call psychosis in which I have believed I am the hindu god Krishna. when in this state I have felt pure divine love and have wanted to reunite with my ex girlfriend whom I have not seen for 10 years. I believe she is Radha . can somebody explain whether this is a mental illness or could it be something else?

I believe I am Krishna

Hello. I believe I am Greg Wilson, you believe you are Krishna. Many people have been named Greg, many people have been named Krishna. That's okay, we all need a name in this conceptual world. When the name becomes who we think our identity is, and that without we are nothing, a problem arises by way of a persona. This is my own observation. A famous sage said he wouldn't even walk across the street to meet Krishna if he was standing on the corner, he knew exactly who or what Krishna is. Good point. If I know or recognize exactly what aspect of myself Krishna is, what more is there? If Krishna is not an aspect of who or what I am, perhaps I need to go and hear what he has to say. I have asked the same for the world at large. If the world is not an aspect of who or what I am--what on earth is it?
