i wanted to share what i experienced some 6 years before and i want to know what i experienced on that day. i had belief in a swamiji(female) in india somehow. she even died before i was born.
i used to meditate once in a week during those days and i used to think of her in prayers. i had a chance to visit her ashram which included her samadhi - place where she was burried. The followers standing outside asked my daughter to stay outside as vibration is not good for kids under 5. my husband took care of her outside. i went inside and felt a strong vibration throughout my body very strongly. it was pleasant and i felt happy. but something in the mind doubted how is it happening. later i came out and my husband went in. when he came out, i asked him whether he felt that vibration. he said 'NO', not even a bit.

after that for nearly 10 days i was so positively vibrant, alert and active. slowly i changed back to normal.

after that i went there 3 times, but i didnt feel the vibration.

what is that? how i felt that strong vibration when my husband didnt. please reply as i am getting into spiritual path again sincerely.

Inner body vibration when visiting samdhis

It can be just sensitivity to the physical conditions of the samadhi and it can be a spiritual connection with that guru. The inner vibration if spans your entire body is the energetic representation of your consciousness.

If you focus on that vibration when it's happening you will be able to sustain it and even deepen it.

I had exactly the very same experience when I visited the samshi of Meher Baba in Meherabad.

You can read more about this phenomenon in http://www.gurusfeet.com/forum/inner-body-meditation

In order to say more, it's important to know who is this female guru and where is the samadhi located.

Thanks sonti for your reply.

Thanks sonti for your reply. It is Aurobindo ashram in pondicherry.

The physical vibration which i felt was through my entire body and it was consistent and clear. Did you feel that vibration for the first time only? i tried 3 or 4 times after that, but i felt calm and some spiritual feeling but not the vibration.

Use the techniques in the link

The first time was in a Vipassana retreat, then after several years in Meherabad in the samadhi of Meher Baba. Consequently, I wanted to know more about that phenomenon (like you) and so searched and read and so came across Eckhart Tolle"s technique for inner body (explained in the link of my previous comment) and since then was able to recreate that vibration.

The samadhi of Aurobindo and the mother is in the courtyard of their house so your vibration is probably not due to physical conditions like humidity and coldness typical to sa,adhis in caves or temples.
