Even if you get what you want, you won’t be happy.



What advice would you give someone seeking the Self?

I would immediately ask, “where are you looking?” And then follow that up with, “what is looking?”



The Self has always been free. The Self is always awake. Right?

This is really a nasty question. If I say “yes”, then you will think there is nothing to realize and remain stuck in suffering.



Is nonduality all about getting rid of this separate wave?

Not at all. Nonduality is about seeing through our identification with this separate wave we call “me.” Even after awakening, the separate wave will still exist as a thing.



Is a living guru required to awaken?

Let me start by saying I had no guru or teacher (living or dead) that gave me, lead me, or otherwise helped me to awaken.



What can I do to awaken?

You can do nothing to Awaken.

I know…not the answer seekers want to hear, but there is more to this answer than meets the eye.



What does nonduality mean to you?

Nonduality is the English equivalent of the Sanskrit term, Advaita. Dvaita is a Sanskrit word that means duality, dualism, and dual. “A” is a prefix that makes it negative.



What is spiritual awakening to you?

It means something specific when I use the term. Spiritual awakening, Enlightenment, Self-Realization, and several other terms are all equal and point to the same happening.



How to destroy the ego?

It is a common question I hear, but you can not battle the ego. It is the ego (me) that would be fitting the ego.
