Bhagavad-Gita 2.20
20. He is not born nor does He ever die; after having been, He again ceases not to be.
Unborn, eternal, changeless and ancient, He is not killed when the body is killed.

commentary: you are always the soul and therefore always blissful. Chant Om Namah Shivaya and be happy.

It does not say that it leads to bliss nor implies

The quote is beautiful but I don't see how you derive your conclusion about blissfulness.

Imagine yourself wearing a wool sweater. And the sweater is itching your skin terribly. You are not the coat but still the coat affects you.

Being the soul does not mean bliss. We are all souls and yet we are not blissful. It is the indifference of the soul that may lead to bliss or more precisely to peacefulness - to be itched by the sweater and be indifferent.
