There is a place in the HEART where THOUGHTS become WISHES
And WISHES become DREAMS!
It's a place where anything is possible
If we only BELIEVE.

when yoiu cease thinking

There is a place in the heart in which you realize that you do not need anything, that everything is perfect as it is. And so you have no use there anymore to wishes nor dreams. You get to this place in the heart when you cease thinking.

Thanks for the common sense and insight. There seems to be a vein of 'magical thinking' here. I haven't figured out if it's cultural or what but thi9s is not a genuine heart focus.

Cease thinking

It isn't necessarily to cease thinking so much as to cease a certain type of thinking -- to cease wishing, hoping, dreaming, wanting, needing, fearing. Thoughts that revolve around "me and my problems, and my desired solutions". Notions of personal progress and regress.

Agreed, although it's amazing how much thinking revolves around the 'me', and how little else there is to think about. Hehe.

For the effect mentioned above

For the effect mentioned above, based on my own experience, a complete ceasing of thinking is required. Then there is something that I may call a tremendous explosion that happens in the heart, something is getting accessible and overflowing there. I feel the one above may be hinting about this. It is very remarkable and noticeable.

hi

It's the little things I miss the most:
a sideways glance
a simple slow dance.

It's the little things that appear in my dreams:
a kiss on the nose
a single rose.

It's the little things that still make my day:
a short phone call
your photo on the wall.

It's the little things that will get us through:
saying I love you
and knowing you love me too.

There is one brother-hood, the human brother-hood
which unites the children of earth indiscriminately in
the brother-hood of God

The little things

The little things are by far the most available in life. How can we miss them? Only by chasing after the big ones.

The little, ordinary things are so extraordinary, so wonderful... it's the "big things" (success, power, possessions, etc.) that are actually meaningless, pointless and ephemeral, making us vulnerable, making us slaves to our attachments. All we have to do is learn that, and drop them like the evils they are.
