They ask why,
why does the I
need that ego?

And I reply:
It is all quite natural
when you believe that you exist
in person
to try and defend that person.

Therefore,
you can't really let go of that ego
before you truly unconditioned
that you are a person
in other words,
unidentified with a body and a mind.

Start with the body,
the mind will follow,
I promise,
just imagine how it would have felt
if you weren't
identified with the body.
Just an inner simulation.
That's all.
And see what happens to the I
and its ego.
