What is the Ultimate : a discussion

Someone said that Bhakti is the ultimate.
But, it is difficult to recognise and measure bhakti.
It has very low tangibility.
Doing one's own duties with all earnestness without due expectation of results must be the maxim for any spiritual follower.

OM !!!

bhakti

mk respected sir, what you are saying ,is true.bhagwan says the same in geeta.doing our duties without expectations is called karma yoga.but it is difficult.so bhagwan says do your karma only for ME.THEN IT BECOM UNATTACHED. SIMILARLY GYAN YOGA iewe are atma our body do all works.we as atma naturally unattached.but both are paths only for sadhak.goal is only bhakti

Bhakti - Gnana - Ultimate : a discussion

Good thought.
Goal cannot be Bhakti.
Goal is realisation of self.
There has been no differentiation between Gnana and Bhakti.
Ref: Srimad Bhagavad Gita,
Forgetting all realise the self.
That is the ultimate.

self realisation

mkself realisation is a state of sadhak where he know the self .but when he stop here he will fall again to selfishness. juorney starts from here.we are not part of conciousness but the infinite conciousness.ie not part of parmatma but parmatma is expressing himself through us..its like fregrence of flower which we experiamce in ourselve but we should not forget the FLOUR .start to find THE FLOWER.it is the starting point of bhakti and total transformation also.ref;bhgwat geeta

abhaktas tell them bhaktas

This is the wonder in this world.
Persons who say that they know, what they know is under consideration.
Persons who say that they do not know, they know. Because Brahman is unknowable. (kenopanishad)
God bless all - both the ignorant and the wise. (Brahmasutras)

Great.
You have really understood that Goakl is not Bhakti.
Fine.
The realisation of self is definitely a difficult thing to achieve.
But we should have the earnest desire to achieve this.
Let us make a try.
If we do the work towards this and pray God for HIS KIND support, we will achieve this for sure.

total surrender

Bhakti is total surrender.
Seems good.

Now we have to understand what are the components of total.
Then what is the physical significance of surrender.
Then only we will be able to surrender.

Pl think through.
it is nice.

Ultimately...

The path may differ as we each have our "own" roads, twists, and trials to fulfill, but ultimately the goal is one...Cosmic Union with the Source of Creation.

So, all is good and all is right at this given moment in time.

The Divinity within you illuminates the world around you...

surrender in toto

Total Surrender:
What is the physical significance?
When I sinks.
How can this happen?
At first by placing all sense organs in its own orbs.
Let us practise this for some days and then discuss.
This will lead to surrendering the self, though not surrender at length.

Note: All words that ae told in spirituality, are to be listened, reflected and meditated upon.
The scientific relevance is to be understood and then one should practice.
Once you practise, you will become your own Guru and will proceed.
Any one interested, please practise this before we go further.

Total surrender, in practical terms...

How do we "place the senses in their own orbs' in practical terms?

Let us discuss how to do this. What are the techniques? Meditation? Many people have found what works for them, perhaps by sharing we can also help others reach that state where they can see beyond the physical.

For truly the light of knowledge does come from within.

Let us share that wisdom.

The Divinity within you illuminates the world around you...

placing the sense organs in its own orbs

For one moment pl think, when you are seeing an object and recognising it as let us say a pen, what is the body engineering involved.
Kindly revert.

Yes, I agree that by discussion we can improve ourselves, but do not you think that you need people, who has the interest and the same inclination.

Thant is why in many vedantas, it is stated not to reveal this to anyone.
However, I found you to be one noble recipient of this knowledge. So let us discuss first.
