The following e-mail was forwarded to me by a member of the group that has been reading my blog posts on Guru's Feet. This member, who I know and believe, stated that this e-mail was dictated by Vinod Seeparsad to a member for the purpose of scolding the group when they failed to raise funds for him.

This is the e-mail, word-for-word, as sent to the group - the title of the mail was "Message from Sri Swamiji":

"Several people have brought it to my attention that there is great confusion over the cooking classes. Even though I explained very clearly at the brunch that I expect everybody to support Swamiji's projects by helping it to be a success, it does not mean that each and every one of you have to attend the cooking classes. If you want to learn how to cook, that's great, some of you may need to. But what would help me more is to enlist family and friends, or put the word out that cooking classes are available. This will keep the project going, week after week or month after month, thereby raising hundreds of dollars versus just a one time sixty dollars from each of you individually.

Does this make sense? I am very disappointed that you do not clearly listen when I speak. And saying so, i am not sure that you will understand this e-mail.

- Swamiji"

Does this sound like a real guru? does it seem like this man is disinterested in money like his members suggest in the PROS section of his profile page? Are these comments becoming of a true guru?

"But what would help me more is...raising hundreds of dollars versus just a one time sixty dollars..."

Is this not greed? Is a real guru not supposed to be above greed? Is he not supposed to be detached from money/wealth?

Shantiness.

Is Guru’s feet the new spiritual TMZ?

Is Guru’s feet the new spiritual TMZ?

I just joined this site at the suggestion of many of my friends from the Gaia Community (whom I miss greatly).

But, I'm not so sure about g.f. anymore after looking around and finding these articles...wth?

Is this a place for the sharing of spiritual knowledge or somewhere to air your dirty laundry?

But really. Placing a warning on your blogs– because someone asked for a donation, when all mosques, temples, churches and even other spiritual figures do the same thing, it’s a bit much…

Dirty laundry or laundered dirt?

Everyone can put whatever he likes in his own blog here, that's in my view the beauty of this place, this is part of the reason why I am here.

Moreover, I see in the sharing of those warning a great contribution of the writer and not dirty laundry. I don't think it is spiritual to hide the dirty laundry in your house and preset to the world a fake smiling face.

Why does it bother you that people share whatever they have on their heart? Even if maybe it is not accurate? What is the source of this trial to control what is available? After all you can choose whatever you want to read :-)

I think contemplating on these last questions are enough to earn your effort of logging in to this website.

I didn't mean in any way to irritate but to try to reflect what I see.

My intention

My intention is not to sling mud, it is to shed light. I merely wish to share my experiences and accounts so that a reader, or an unsuspecting seeker, can find information that allows them to question this guru and his intentions.

This swami is notorious for controlling the content on the web as it relates to him. This is why you cannot find a picture of him anywhere. Question yourself, why a swami with a website and pages on several spiritual websites (including guru’s feet) up and disappears over night? Why he asks guru's feet to take down his picture? Why he files a complaint with Google? Why he claims copyright to YouTube over a video made by the CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation)?

What is he hiding from? Why has he disappeared off the internet and from his community? I only wish to make it clear that he cannot hide any longer.

The Whole Truth

THE WHOLE TRUTH

To all those who read this post, know that the accusations made by Shantiness and others against Swami Sai Premananda are false. Swami Sai Premanada is 100% innocent and has been unjustly persecuted and blamed by my family for my actions. This entire situation is my fault - my mother is deeply angry at me for marrying the person I love and making my own life decisions, which went against her wishes. Anybody who claims otherwise is lying.

The truth? For a little over two years, my mother and brother have spread lies to the community about Swami Sai Premananda and the meditation group in which my wife, Neena, and I met. Swami Sai Premananda was never a part of this story. My family have harassed, stalked and threatened him and torn his life to pieces by spreading gossip and lies. My mother’s attachment and desire to control my life are the reasons behind this attack on Swami Sai Premananda, and this situation is continuing to perpetuate due to my inability to resolve the conflict with my family.

Swami Sai Premananda has nothing do with the conflict between my family, and myself. I do not have any contact with Swami Sai Premananda for the simple reason that my family and I have brought so much suffering into his life.

During the time that I was with Swamiji, he brought nothing but peace and light into my life. I wish him the best always, and these attacks against him need to stop. I am writing this response because Swamiji has been suffering the consequences of my family’s actions due to their conflict with me. This has gone on for too long.

I have posted the events that led to the unwarranted attacks against Swami Sai Premananda, in their entirety, and I encourage anyone who comes to Shantiness’s page to read the truth of the matter.

Shantiness, whoever you are, stop these actions against Swami Sai Premananda when he is not to blame, the fault is my own. Contact me directly so that we can end the rift that is between us. Nobody else needs to be involved, and nobody else is responsible. My phone number is 416.993.6251 and my email address is rahulasethi@gmail.com.

truth

If this man is a true Guru he will stand in the Light of truth and everyone will see clearly that he is genuine. If he is false his actions and deeds will be hid in the shadows and people will eventually come to realise for themselves. we can tell people until we are blue in the face, but the must see it for themselves, other wise it starts to fall on deaf ears. The truth will always be revealed and when it does " I told you so" is not what people need to know, just that you still love and care for them should be enough.
Remember if someone has power over a person it is because they have given it to them and that person can also take it back. you only have to look at all the dictators and whats happening in the world, dictators rule by fear and when people are no longer afarid the dictators can no longer rule

OM shanti shanti shanti
