There are three types of Guru's(teachers)

1st: The Guru is God himself, This guru can appear anywhere even in child or animal to teach us when we are in need of teachings.

2nd: The Guru is Divine sound itself, who shows us the path towards truth.

3rd: The Guru is Living Spiritual Master or Teacher, from where we are initiationed on the path of truth.

Relation between these three Gurus:

Ist guru is like "Sun", 2nd guru is like its "Ray", 3rd guru is like a "Spot" on which the ray is being focused.

Necessaty of these three Gurus:

One who is in the serch of TRUTH, All these three guru's has their own importance from time to time. it is necessary for the student to devlop a humble love for all these three guru's or teachers to get sucess on this path.

On the first stage: One can only understand the teachings of 1st Guru (living Master).

On the Second stage: One becomes able to understand the teachings of 2nd Guru (God himself who can appear anywhere to teach even in small child or animal)

On the Third stage: One makes the connection with 3rd Guru (Divine Sound), after reaching on this stage there is no need of any external Guru or Teacher.

Finally: God Guru & student becomes One.

For my Dear Dear Brother Kabir sahib quote

Use the strength of your own arm,
Stop putting hope in others.
When the river flows through your own yard,
How can you die of thirst?

The Jogi cries:
“Gorakh Gorakh!”
The Hindu utters
The name of Ram,
The Mussalman repeats:
“God is one!”
But the Lord of Kabir
Pervades all.

The best place to look for God is “in the heart of your heart.”Him whom I went out to seek,
I found just where I was:
He now has become myself
Whom before I called `Another'!

Look at you, you madman!
Screaming you are thirsty
And dying in a desert,
When all around you
There is nothing but water

Man is but a doll made from five elements,
To whom a human's name is given ...
We are but guest of four days,
Yet we take up so much room!
He was the editor of our paper. He created the publishing house in Hebrew. He was - I wouldn't say the "guru" - but really he was our teacher and a most respected man. I wrote for the paper of the youth movement.
Shimon Peres

I bow at His Feet constantly, and pray to Him, the Guru, the True Guru, has shown me the Way.
Guru Nanak

I know the guru route, I know you go sit on a mountain. But screw India. I ain't going there.
Susan Powter

I met Leo Fender, who is the guru of all amplifiers, and he gave me a Stratocaster. He became a second father to me.
Dick Dale

Let no man in the world live in delusion. Without a Guru none can cross over to the other shore.
Guru Nanak

One does not become a guru by accident.
James Fenton Self-knowledge or knowledge of truth is not had by resorting to a guru (preceptor) nor by the study of scripture, nor by good works: it is attained only by means of inquiry inspired by the company of wise and holy men. One's inner light alone is the means, naught else. When this inner light is kept alive, it is not affected by the darkness of inertia.
