Realize There is Only Consciousness

"One mistake people get caught up in
on the spiritual path
is to assume that they are this
separate individual "me."

And then from the perspective
of this individual "me"
they try to meditate,
they try to transform themselves,
they try to attain an enlightened state.

And this works to a point.

But by doing this, you keep reinforcing
your sense of separateness.
With every thought that you identify with
and feel 'this is me'
your reinforce your own separation.
You imprison yourself in a concept.

But who is this "me"
that you think you are?
Can you find this me?

If you close your eyes
and look in this moment
beyond your thinking,
you will not find
this thinking "me."

You will discover
that you are
consciousness itself.
You are awareness.

And this is good in itself.

But after discovering this,
why not practice meditating
from the direct experiential realization
that you are consciousness.

Why not try doing
whatever you are doing in this moment
from the direct experiential realization
that you are consciousness.

Not the idea of it,
not as a concept.
Not as a memory of last year
or the last minute
but right now live
as the truth of what you are,
as consciousness itself.

Because if you do this,
you will not be able to find
anything that is not consciousness.

Just by remaining in this truth,
again not the idea of it
not to try and intellectually convince
yourself that you are consciousness,
but by experiencing it for yourself
in this moment
and remaining in that
it swallows up any idea of "me."

There cannot be suffering in this;
there cannot be conflict in this.

But the tendency is to come back
to assuming this "me" and think
"wow that was a nice experience"
but why go back?

Why give the "me" tendency
enough room to come back?

Just for 10 minutes
stay in this realization.
Twenty minutes. Half an hour.
An hour.

Don't look for it to be blissful,
don't look for it to be peaceful.
Don't look for anything beyond
this realization in this moment
that you are conscious.

It will poke a hole
in this assumption
that you are a separate person.

And just from that hole,
something may widen,
something may begin to happen
on its own
that will delight you to no end.

Much love,

Kip"

Thank you!

Really love these lines...

"....Don't look for it to be blissful,
don't look for it to be peaceful.
Don't look for anything beyond
this realization in this moment
that you are conscious.....

Yes!..We separate us from our "TRUE SELF"...instead of knowing our true essence and its presence!!!!
It is all the Play of MIND...which is ACTIVE all the time!!!

Thank You!
