The question is not whether you believe or not.

The question is whether you are connected to your belief or not.

This is not just a smart game of words.

The belief is always there, in you, it is a definite part of you. Sometimes closed, sometimes disclosed.

This is an experiential fact. If you haven't experienced that yet, take this as a working hypothesis for now.

You, on the other hand, are not definite at all. You can be here, you can be there, you can be in the body or you can be in your thoughts, you can be in the brain, or, and most importantly, you can be in the Heart.

When you ask whether you believe or not, you, naturally being in the head, the mind, of course will respond: No.

However, if you ask whether you are connected to your belief or not, immediately, you will be shifted from the head to the heart, from the thinking mind to the center. The certainty that belief is always somewhere in you does not let you indulge in the conditioned thoughts, in the lazy mind.
