Practical sacrifice for God prove that God is the highest

The practical sacrifice for the sake of God to prove that God is highest is important here to get the permanent grace of God. Kamsa heard the voice of unimaginable God from the sky about the danger from the eighth child of his sister. Even though it is the voice of unimaginable God, he tried to oppose God by killing all her children.

If he had faith in the unimaginable God, he should have killed his own devilish nature and should have surrendered to God for protection. Krishna was the unimaginable God in visible human form. Even though it is the form of ordinary human being, Gopikas sacrificed everything and everybody for Him and surrendered to God completely. Therefore, the point is not about the form of God. The point is about your attitude towards your selfishness and your sacrifice to God. The essence of your entire spiritual effort is to eradicate your selfishness and develop sacrifice for the sake of God. If this attitude is achieved, there is no need of worshipping God. What is the use of worship as long as your attitude is centered on your selfishness either for Iham or Param (for this world or afterworld)?

What is sacrifice and what is service?

Sacrifice of what? Sacrifice to whom? These two are the important points. Sacrifice proves the real love. Sacrifice of words, mind, intelligence, work and fruit of work are the five items. The sacrifice of the former three items is theoretical devotion which is fruitful only when it is transformed into the sacrifice of the last two items which is the practical love. You can realize this truth in your daily experience as seen in the case of your children. Theoretical love alone will not give any fruit. The theoretical knowledge and theoretical devotion are like water and fertilizer which applied to the service-tree can only give fruits through the tree and not directly.

The meals should be associated with the drinking water but offering drinking water only to the guest cannot be charged. Even the hotel does not charge for it. The sacrifice of first three items is offering drinking water and the sacrifice of other two is offering meals. To prove that your bond to God is highest, you have to sacrifice the highest bond. The other bonds need not be tested. The highest bond may be Dharma, money, life, or children etc. Some have highest bond with one of these and they can sacrifice all the other bonds for the sake of that particular highest bond. In such case God competes with that highest bond only to know whether He is higher than your highest.

People are saying that God is highest for them. Some say this with ignorance and some tell this knowing that it is not true. In both cases, God proves the truth through the test (Datta Pariksha). God knows the truth but the revelation of truth is for your sake and not for His sake. If you realize the truth, you will try to succeed in the next examination by doing the spiritual effort. Otherwise, you are expecting God to believe whatever you say and react accordingly. All the prayers to God are utterances of lies only and all the worships are the trials to fool God.

Generally the word sacrifice is used in the sense of sacrificing the fruit of work (money or wealth) and service means the sacrifice of work. The saints are not having any wealth because they have dedicated themselves in the service of the Lord. Therefore sacrifice of fruit of work does not apply to their case. Hanuman is a bachelor-saint and so can only do the sacrifice of work.

The requirement of the Lord is also very important. To get back Sita, the Lord required only sacrifice of work and the other sacrifice was not required. Krishna was a young boy in Brundavanam and does not require the sacrifice of work because His mission has not started. Gopikas were householders and women who cannot sacrifice the work like Hanuman in a war against injustice. They sacrificed their wealth (Butter) because the boy also requires good food to grow well. The requirement was for the sacrifice of the fruit of the work.

Butter was the fruit of their tedious work. When the war against injustice came, the Lord required the sacrifice of work from Arjuna just like from Hanuman. Rama required the service in His personal work whereas Krishna required the service in the work of the devotees (Pandavas). If you take Sankara, the Lord required the service of the four disciples in propagation of knowledge for the welfare of the society. Similarly Ramanuja and Madhva required the service of the disciples in the propagation of devotion and divine service. Therefore the Lord may sometimes require your service in His personal work or your service in the personal work of a devotee or in the welfare of society. The Lord knows what to do when. His decision is always the best. You should not analyze the Lord because He is beyond logic.

. Once you have recognized the God, the logic should be dropped. The logic is only used to reject the non-God items posing as God. Logic is very much required in this line. However, once the confirmation was over with the help of logic, you should serve Him with blind faith. You can use the logic for identifying the Lord and the logic is useful here to filter the pseudo human incarnations. The fruit of work (money) is only another form of work. When you work, you get some money as the fruit. When you sacrifice that fruit, it means you have done that work. Alternatively, when you have done that work to the Lord, you have sacrificed the fruit of work.

Work is a form of energy. Matter (money) is also a form of energy. Therefore work and money are one and the same even in the light of the inter conversion of matter and energy as proved in science. One can do any one of these two or both according to his convenience and according to the extent of his devotion. The devotion should not be due to fear from hell expecting the Lord to protect them there. The devotion should not be also for any fruit in return.

When there is no aspiration for any fruit and when there is no desire for protection here or there, such devotion is real. Sankara says that the devotion and service should not aspire any fruit here as well as there (ihaamutra phala viragah).

Sacrifice and Service

Sacrifice and service both the words have the value not in spiritual/religious levels but also have its unique role and significance in the spheres of socialism, economies, researches, politics, industries and business. Commercial activities use these words for the achievement of its goal.
But here these words needfully have to be viewed from the point of spirituality only. Giving up as well as loosing the benefits of self-interest is called sacrifice in general way but the motto of sacrifice of these benefits must be the target for the welfare of others in order to make them spiritual uplift or to say spiritually benefited. Result of these sacrifice must also be offered to Almighty God without getting any wave of ego in mind; otherwise it will be utter failure. This sacrifice happens through the mechanics of work which is other form of service, so these are co-related because the activity of sacrifice to get happening is also needs work and this work is done by t5he person who has to be sacrificer. Services can be done without the giving up self-interest also. These my be performed with view to serve the God through His devotees and through the public.

Best sacrifice is to make the 'ego' dead in devotee and best service is to serve the people of God un-egotistically along-with the offering the result of the service to God.

Real love require sacrifice

The real love requires the unhappiness by sacrifice. In such sacrifice one feels happy since he sacrificed to the Lord. You take the mother. She gives the food to her child and suffers with hunger. But she feels very happy in that suffering. A human being cannot give back any thing for such real love. Even if he gives something i.e., temporary only. But when the real love is proved by the sacrifice the Lord gives the permanent fruit i.e., Brahma Loka. Sakthuprashta gave his food to the Lord in human form though he was not having food for the past ten days. If the guest was an ordinary human being, the guest must have been a sadist, because he never cared about the hunger of Sakthuprastha.

But since the guest was the Lord, Sakthuprastha was given infinite wealth in this world and also the permanent Brahma Loka after death. Therefore you must be very careful in fixing the human form of the Lord. Otherwise if the human form is an ordinary human being you are deceived and such a human being is definitely a sadist. The unhappiness in sacrifice and the happiness that neutralizes unhappiness are the characteristics of the path of the sacrifice. The Lord does not insist such path.

The path should come from the depth of your heart with full willingness. If you fear for the unhappiness you can never follow that path. When the case comes to your children, you will not put this question because you have real love to them. Are you not sacrificing your food to your child even though you suffer with hunger and feel happy? Since you are not having the real love on the Lord this question is coming to your mind.

The real Love

Without love sacrifice cannot be materialized; hence, it is the existing of love in man which forces him for sacrifice and also this sacrifice is for the seeking of love.
Love for God is imperishable but love for materialistic world is perishable; therefore, perishable love must be sacrificed for the achievement of imperishable love.

Perishable love should be diverted to GOd in human form

Perishable love should be diverted to love to GOd by practical sacrifice to God. God is invisible but the same GOd come in human form. One should divert the perishable love to God in human form since He can alone receive our sacrifice and we get the satisfaction of our sacrifice to Him and we can see His pleasure on His face and both subject and object get satisfaction when practically one serves God in human form who is present in this world now.

Perisahable Love

1.What is perishable Love and opposite to it imperishable?
2.How perishable love can be diverted to God?
3.Perishable love can be for some timing existence, may be destroyable whether such destructive thing can be offered to God?
4.Perishable love and material attractions have negative sense which flourishes in the hearts of demons, monsters, rakshases; whether such kind of love can be offered to God?
5.Love may be done to the person known who has also alive physical appearance but God is invisible then how He/She can be loved?
6.God comes in human form; so where is such form at this time to whom we may talk directly with Him and also see His Face to know His pleasure for certifying whether our perishable is accepted by Him or not?
7.What is subject and object and also satisfaction of sacrifice which is got by these both?
8.How can one practically serve God in human form who is present in world now?

Conditional Love Vs Unconditional Love

The devotion is of two types, conditional and unconditional. The former is bound by area and time. Within the limits of certain area only God is honored. If God crosses those limits God is rejected. Therefore, for the devotee the limits of the area happen to be God, since those limits are ultimate for the devotee. God also follows the same rule and cannot help the devotee beyond those limits. In such case God follows the strict rules of the cycle of deeds (Karma Chakra) and acts according to justice and injustice.

At the maximum, God may do some rearrangements like pre-poning of good fruits with reduced value and post-poning bad fruits with increased interest.

In this case God will not transfer your sins on to Him because the conditional devotion is basically unreal. In the conditional devotion since the boundary of the area is ultimate God, God is no more God. Therefore, the approach to God is false devotion. It is time bound since the devotion comes only in difficult times. The unconditional devotion is not limited by area and time. The devotion is real crossing all the limits of areas and time.

The Lord is the writer of the constitution and He knows whom to punish. Some times you see punishment of innocent person. You think that the injustice is ruling. In the kingdom of God only the justice is the ruler by the grace of God. When the innocent is punished, the punishment was of some bad deed done by him previously and the date of the punishment coincided with the present incident accidentally.

The Lord will react in the same way as we act (Ye Yatha Mam…Gita). If our devotion is one kg of Gold, He will pay us its cost. If our devotion is hundred grams gold, He will pay us one tenth of the cost of the gold. But if our devotion is only bronze, even if it is one kg the cost of gold cannot be paid. Bronze is glittering like gold and it will have its own payment. The time bound devotion is totally unreal. We are using God only in difficulties as we use the fan in summer. In the winter fan is not needed. Of course, we use the fan in winter also for few minutes so that it will not corrode. Similarly, we pray God for a little time in the days of happiness also so that the touch with God is maintained. The intensity of the devotion in the times of happiness is definitely different from that in bad times. The devotion of Prahlada and Gopikas (Great Devotee of God)was having the same intensity in all the times. In such case only God suffers for the sake of devotee. All the suffering of Prahlada was taken by Lord and therefore Prahlada was always smiling during the torture.
