A new look on us posing as gurus...

In everyone of us hides a little poser as a guru and so we are very skilled in recognizing him in others.

The way is not denying our little poser or protesting against others' little posers but accepting these funny creatures in us as well as in others.

This way, our cute poser will stay little and harmless.

He is a child, a part of our child, a part of us as children.

After all, there is no real reason for us to be so ashamed and resentful about a child.

He is just a little child playing his game and seeking a candy. It'o okay.

Guru is Universal.

There IS an inner guru, in all of us....the Satguru.....Consciousness, itself. The problem happens only when we think it's exclusive to us....and that the very same Consciousness, isn't operating in "others". Guru, is universal.

Our own little ego child revolting against other ego children

It's our own little ego child whose main activity is to value itself in relation to other ego children, revolting against these other ego children and constantly comparing.

I like this new approach of treating the child in a compassionate manner. Not only that it is the right thing to do but also that this approach does not cultivate it.

Ego is some thing different

Ego is some thing different from guru. The creator gave us a form and ego started. When guru is god where is ego? .When guru speaks from our hearts the WORD has power and there is no ego.It is the gurus voice so it is meaningful, thought provoking some times beyond our comprehension

The poser as a guru is not the sadguru

You are confusing between the "guru inside" / sadguru etc. and the "poser as a guru", that initiative of the ego that tries to pose as an authority outwardly in relation to others, completely two different things. The post is speaking about the latter.

Regarding what you say about the power of our words etc - well, it's partly right in theory but the bottom line is that even if there is such pure voice, evidently it's cluttered and distorted by the mind (otherwise, all those who "talk from their hearts" were speaking words of truth, something that we know by our experience that is completely opposite to what happens in reality.

I am an opposer to the idea

I am an opposer to the idea of poser guru and sadguru. When we are in LKG class how can we judge a doctorate?Every guru is a sadguru.SAT+GURU.Becoming guru is a SATWIK trait. We get guru as per our spiritual journey performed in earlier births.Arjuna was disciple to lord krishna in his earlier birth also NARA&NARAYANA.Dattatreya told that he had 24 gurus.
After reaching peaklevel in sadhana,a gurus speech becomes prophetic. The listeners become spellbound and the words become manthras
