In meditation, a scenario or vision came to me. I saw myself much older in white robes with a beard and long hair both white/gray. I was teaching to a group of people in what I persumed to be New York City. I was teaching a popular lesson that Lord Christ taught. One that was often heard but rarely applied. I stated, " By their fruits, ye shall know them..." at the moment a man stood up to refute me. "Where are you fruits? What miracles have you done? Show us a miracle or we will no longer follow you." Others began to get the courage to join in.

I stood up. Deeply saddened by their material desires. "Okay, I will perform a miracle. However, afterwards let there be no doubt from whence the power came. May you become ever more devoted to good and love, even God." Their eye widened, there thoughts were clear to me. "What will he do?" they thought. Some became fearful, thinking that they may be punished as the result of their unbelief.
I grabbed a plate. "Now each of you place $5 dollars unto the plate." They grew weary. One called out, "what is this scam, we must pay for your miracle?" "Oh no, you misunderstand. I swear I will not keep it, but I can not return it either. I hope you can place what I asked on the plate with faith. Was it not you who asked for a miracle?" The plate was passed and there were quite a few, so the money began to pile up quickly. When the plate returned to me. I put on my coat over my robes an proceed to walk towards the door,"Come, follow me. It is snowing, so please put on your coats. They did so. We start walking down a way from the building we had previously occuppied. Until, we came upon a homeless man, who was shivering from the cold. He was dirty, and it was appearant he had not eaten in quite a while. I turn to those who had followed me. Pulled out all the money (which had amounted to quite a lot), added a 5 dollar bill from my pocket. I kneeled next to the poor man and put one hand on his shoulder and the money in his hand. His eyes widened, he could not speak from being so amazed. I then proceeded to take off my coat and placed it around him, "Go and do good brother." I said. I stood up and started to walk through the crowd who were in a state of shock. The homeless man quickly gather what little he owned and followed behind me and then those who had come with came to their senses and also followed behind the homeless man. I could sense awe in their hearts and their understanding grew..they had witnessed a miracle.

The vision ended. I realized that it was the miracle of the heart that each and everyone of us needed in this day and age. This was the highest form of miracle, the greatest fruit, was love.

true miracle

Amazing story! This is the true miracle, not the gimmick mind-entertaining ones we are usually looking for.
