Meditation & The Nature of Attention

"If you give
your full attention to anything
without wanting
anything in return
there is love and bliss.

The particular action
does not matter,
it is that giving yourself
over fully to that action
which brings love and bliss.

When you give someone
you truly love a hug,
you give yourself
over to that hug.

For that moment,
you give up
trying to be someone
or get something.

You lose yourself
in that hug.

That is how you should
approach meditation.

You lovingly
give yourself over to it.

Then there is no thought
of attaining something
or becoming something.

The very immersing yourself
in what is here
is fulfillment.
