We can understand that some great Masters from the Astral world select mediums for their work. It is evident that Masters of the Higher regions is selecting all the Gurus. Blavatsky had such powers even from Childhood. Those super natural powers indicate readiness of soul for higher travel. They are not at all indications of perfection. Sadhakas (one who practice) should not have such desires. They should not do Yoga for the powers at all. Exhibition of such miracles and craze for them drive them to madness or help to fall down from the heights. Nature around us is filled with powers unknown to us. They are not fancies or Phantasies. A Yogi should use them knowingly without Ego and Selfishness.

First, we must understand that invisible energy behind all things. Secondly, we should not use those extra ordinary powers for our self. The Theosophical Society was founded not to give training in awakening latent powers. It was not established to propagate a particular religion. It is mainly irreligious and above all religious beliefs. It teaches spiritual values in life. It teaches how human beings can live divine life. Divinity in human life is the goal of Theosophy.

Had she not written ‘The secret Doctrine’ the world would have forgotten her decades ago. It is the resultant of her meditation and ambition. ‘Dyan Cohans’ was the original for the secret Doctrine she copied from Buddhist monasteries. Dyan Cohans was written in Senzar Language. Very few in the world knew that language. The most ancient books in the world were written in Senzar. That was supposed to be the language of Spiritual Masters. It had no vocabulary at all. It was written symbols, strokes and diagrams. Those symbols convey some message. It is the language of masters and Gurus. It is the language of Initiation. By looking at them the spectator receives some sort of feeling. Thoughts generate in his mind. One will understand according to his mental status and imbibed culture. That indicates the latent talent of man. Only some spiritual Masters can explain them. It is the mind’s language.

Madam Blavatsky’s first book ‘Iris Unveiled’ was written after she came contact with invisible Masters of the East. It was their dictation, their higher observations. She used to call mystic findings and Magic. She published her ‘Secret Doctrine’ in 1888. Both the books are hard nuts. They are composed with human history, evolution and other technicalities of creation and man-form. It is very difficult to understand those two books.

There is one ancient book, which is said to be the basis for all religions and philosophies of the world. Now, only one copy of it is available. The book was the origin of all Hindu Puranas. It was also written in Senzar language. In it one can find the history of human race right from its inception to the times of sri Krishna.

The basic truths that inspired Blavatsky before writing the ‘Secret Doctrine’ –
1. The world was not formed by accident. It was not just an atomic composition.
2. Man has to shoulder special responsibility in the evolution and in achieving perfection.
3. The truth behind all religions is the same. It is the duty of every one of us to safeguard the hidden Truth.
4. Theosophy helps to promote brotherhood among all religions.
5. Spirituality is not limited to man only. There is spiritual touch everywhere in nature. We should recognize and re-establish that identity and universality.

Falsity gets easy propagation. Truth reaches the public very slowly. The human mind easily invites falsehood and untruth. That is due to Ego. We should not discord anything with out proof. There are innumerable truths that are yet to come to light. The great masters wait and see for developed souls that can receive and put to use in the world.

The Masters wait for the advent of such deserved students and bless them with Guruhood. Gurus who keep morale could receive higher truths. What we worship as parabrahma cannot be a god. It is Truth. It is pure and unchanging. It is conscience.

The world is created on seven principles. Out of which four are reserved for physical world. The fifth one is Etheric. It is half physical, half spiritual. During the fourth evolution it converts into air. The fifth dimension is not within the reach of human brain. We can’t say when the sixth and seventh take place. The whole of creation was done in seven stages and was hidden in seven chapters. Till now the secrets of six chapters were disclosed. The seventh chapter is yet to open its pages.

We listen to orators. They may speak well on many subjects. But we don’t taste Truth in their speeches. Similarly, we don’t find any secrets by studying Secret Doctrines. Maximum, one may develop interest and may incline to do some yoga. Any thought that touches the Divine comes under Wisdom. That leads to contemplation. It thus makes a way to concentration, which finally settles in Yoga. Gnana is double track. This is one path. The other path starts from Yoga. Even with no knowledge of Yoga, one can practice Meditation. Yoga and Meditation ultimately give higher knowledge directly.

I would have to question though, the "all" in the second sentence. Though there may be many guru's guided by the heirarchical hands at play in this world and the astral worlds above this one, there are still Those that have transcended and who serve those who seek to transcend all such "play". Blavatsky, along with A.A. Bailey who sought to continue Blavatsky's theosophical work, as well as many others for that matter, also point out the nature of the astral plane as being just as illusory as this physical plane. The same can be said of even higher regions though they become less and less illusory. It has been said it is the 5th region where "God Realization" is attained though there are "higher" planes above the 5th. It can be safe to assume that those from the lower regions cannot choose who will come from the 5th region to serve in whatever capacity the God Realized seek to serve. As is often stated in theosophical works, the lower cannot comprehend the higher but the higher can comprehend and work with the lower.

Now those whom you refer too as selecting and guiding the mediums for their work and of the Higher regions, may be just employing astral bodies just as we employ physical bodies to meet a certain end. Even so, they are still subject to the illusory traps as any other being. Such is the arduous journey of the True Great Masters...Christ and Buddha(and others) did not come into this world the same "way" they left it. They had to overcome the same things we have to overcome.

In any case, perhaps the "all" in the second sentence was only an accidental generalization.

..And as for the likes of Blavatsky or AA Bailey, there is folly in knowledge so we should be careful. I'm sure there are those who have affinities with such teachers and with such knowledge, and God's workings on all levels employ various souls or beings as God's Will has willed, but for some, the traps of knowledge should be watched out for, as many have advised already. I enjoyed many things about reading Blavatsky and Bailey and found many things to be useful and very helpful to "know"..Just not all things. Such knowledge can be used as disinformation too, which clouds the path even though some of it illuminates it..Hence the folly in knowledge.

Again, well said article on Blavatsky. Am enjoying the advanced commentary.
