If people insult us or blame us when we are actually blameless, what should we do?

Shri Shri Nimishananda Guruji's reply:-

Just keep quiet and pray. You may have done nothing wrong in the present context, but this is a fruit of the harmful actions that you have committed in the past. The person who is insulting you is only an agent through whom your own karma is manifesting. So don’t react negatively. Always remember that you are sowing fresh karmic seeds when you do this. Pray to be forgiven for your past mistakes and pray that the person abusing you may be pardoned for his mistakes. If you remain calm and follow this conscientiously, in a few days, the other person will be transformed and this abusive pattern will be broken permanently.

Give your own answers, at least once

why do you only quote your guru? Don't you see the irony in that? don't you realize that you can provide same answers by your own and even better? don't you see the bondage in that extreme idolization? Leave the idolization to teenage girls who adore and quote pop stars...

The how is more important that the what.
