Exactly, we are nothing... which is a wonderful thing to be ;-). Memory is the basis for our identification as a person, as the "me", which is the source of all our problems.

Not that memory goes away upon enlightenment, but we no longer 'live by' it... it's no longer the basis for our actions, we are totally concentrated in the here and now, responding fully to life based on what's currently happening -- neither what we remember happening before, nor what we want to happen, but what's happening now.

Yes, enlightenment is a very radically different way of living. And as everyone says it's peace, contentment and joy, I don't think this is incorrect. Of course, how do we find out what any way of life is like... by living it, not by thinking about or believing. You want to find out what it's like to be a world traveler or a skydiver or mountain climber or thief or cave dweller... experience it.

These days,it seems that all of us are too serious....
Understand the link between your expectations and
your frestation level.Whenever you expect some thing
to be a certain way and it is not you are upset and you suffer
,But when you let go of your expectations, when accept life
as it is,you are free ,to hold on it to be seroius.and upright.
To let go is to lightn up.

There is one brother-hood, the human brother-hood
which unites the children of earth indiscriminately in
the brother-hood of God
