ENLIGHTENMENT VS LIBERATION

Do the Seekers realize that Enlightenment is not the same as Liberation?

Shouldn't Liberation be the Goal?

Once Liberated, all concerned with being or not being Enlightened would not exist, as the Liberated are beyond all questions!

The Merry Go Round of states of Enlightenment should end with Liberation!

Once you get enlightened you

Once you get enlightened you feel unattached like a water drop on a lotus leaf.So your role becomes only a spectator to the happenings around you. This kind of thinking(unattatched) you may call liberation.Actually there is no liberation only detatchment through enlightenment

Excellent!

Interesting food for thought.

Years ago, I boldly declared to an elder that I fully believed I'd reach enlightenment in this life time. Funny, isn't it? Today the statement feels abrasive, egotistical.

At some point my realization came that if I were even to start out on the road to seek with a genuine heart, what a huge step that would be. This contemplation humbles me.

Not long after that statement, liberation became of interest to me. I didn't really make the delineation between the two and didn't think of myself worthy to consider seeking either. It got filed away as something to begin when I'm more experienced, perhaps in my 40's or 50's. Yet here I am at 32, and this has now become a dedication ...seeking liberation.

It is no longer about what I think or what worth there is in me. There is only this intent among many other intents, all beautiful and worthwhile to experience and seek out. There is a beauty here ~ the golden flower of redemption that brings light into every dark hour.

The notion of "states of

The notion of "states of enlightenment' was likely invented by those who have experienced powerful (illusory) mind states and wish to claim this as enlightenment. Once that notion is dropped, things get more clear. Liberation is something of an oxymoron. Enlightenment is the realization that there was never anyone to be liberated. Seek to know the Truth. Everything else will take care of itself.
