Your name and form
are the food of the One...
Why reject the dream?
Is it safer?...
is it fear of pain?
Only the dreamer
says nothing exists.
Nothing says nothing.

This is so beautiful!

Only the dreamer
says nothing exists.
Nothing says nothing.

You have deciphered a common error of neo advaitans in one line. Amazing.

So beautiful.

"Only the dreamer
says nothing exists."

Living in the material world;can one say nothing exists?

Isolating the dreamer from the reality of this world; he may, or may not believe nothing exists.

"Nothing says nothing exists"
Scientifically this really has no meaning.

Spiritually, your poem is very vibrant about the fluid nothing.

Nothing says nothing....

is what is written...
scientifically , it is logical...
"nothing says nothing".. nothing is silent...

Thanks and blessings Jai K Garg!

"Tantalize the soul with the words of the supreme,
Lock your self to the silence of the universe?
Splashing nothing with nothing in cocktail punches,
Shaking the silence of divine joy with nothing.

For I desire to unite with the almighty;
Leave nothing for my nirvana's everything."

To me nothing says everything.

Wish you come out from the nothing.

nothing says nothing

this is funny...
i'll put it a different way...
"no-thing" is silence itself,
devoid of "silence" is silent.. i'll put it that way...for you :)
in this sense 'nothing' has nothing to say..silence is silence, the void is the void...
let's see if we meet this time huh...
we can each read words differently to the intended meaning
at times...

but, if you didn't get what "nothing says nothing" means
in this poem...
then i give up trying to explain..

"Life then is Mithya where none exist as nothing,
Or Maya impersonates silence as nothing?
Do we hear and know nothing to follow nothing,
Letting divine footsteps lead us from this nothing."

The left out stanza should answer; Of course I don't understand.

It is like defining Zero;I wonder about infinite too.

If we could understand "nothing" we would become God.
May God be with you.

Yes.... exactly, as you wrote
"If we could understand "nothing" we would become God"...
Only the relative body/mind speaks about such "nothingness".. which is what is meant by "only the dreamer says nothing exists" in my poem....
and this is where we meet...
and agree..

may God be with you also !!

Then it must be time for

Then it must be time for another disagreement. Hehe.

The 'no-thing' out of which thingness forms is too simple for understanding. Understanding is one of the 'things' formed within nothing, so beyond that understanding it needs no understanding and does not lend itself to understanding simply because there is nothing to understand. None of these understandings will lead 'us' to become God, for more reasons than one.

'Nothing/silence/stillness' are pointers to Truth, meaning understandi8ng is neither possible nor necessary since Truth is prior to mind and it's understanding.

What is truth?

...from the dreams to "Nothing/silence/stillness" and now truth.

I remember reading about Albert Einstein and R.N Tagore's dialogue on truth.
I too thought truth was universal devoid of "I" as stated by "Einstein".

But then Tagore pointed out if I don't exist truth really has no meaning.

Later I wrote my poem "Equilibrium" and was confused and asked my Guru ji 'Chandra Swami ji' and he too was of the opinion that without "'I' the universe did not exist for me."

Just post the poem in my blog; It would be nice to know your esteemed views as you seem to know truth comes before nothing.
With Gods blessings to each one of you.

What we have been calling

What we have been calling Nothingness/Stillness/Silence is synonomous with Truth, and so Truth does not come before Nothing. It may be called Beingness/Isness/Self, whatever. Even the distinction is false, but we make one between this Beingness which You ARE, and the human that You imagine yourself to be. So, it's not that 'I' don't exist, just that the human does not exist as an independent entity, and 'I' am not that human. You know that you exist, the only question is what are you, or in self inquiry terms, 'Who am I?'. Of course 'I AM' is the Truth being referred to.

Chuang Tzu,a mystique once

Chuang Tzu,a mystique once had a dream where he had turned into a beautiful butterfly. The next day he was distracted coz he was confused whether in real he was a butterfly or Chuang Tzu.
I hardly see any difference between our waking hours and sleeping hours. Our waking hours are followed with continuity and dreams is its product.
Dream can not be rejected till the waking hour exist coz they coexist. The day when the waking hour ceases the sleeping hour will cease on its own accord and there will be a beginning of new hour which I would like to call it as an awakening hour.

I like this beautiful poem because it is a sane balance to the so widespread stand that says that since it is a dream you should renounce it, since it is false you should transcend it etc.

And usually all these transcending and renouncing are done out of hidden motives stemming from fears and pains.

We have this life. It does not seem as an accidental happening. Why not enjoy it fully while we just remember that it is a dream.
