I just finished a free TV show at http://www.humanmind.org/Shows.html. This is given in 18 part series. Found so much similarities to Geeta. Thougt might be of interest. Specially I like the idea that memory reside in mind or soul. Would like readers comments on this.

Science knows today: mind and memory are not only in the brain

According to contemporary research, mind and memory do not reside in the brain only but throughout the body.

According to scientific findings, our memory mechanism is holographic and not what we used to think (that information units are stored in certain memory cells). You can extract different parts of the brain of rats (and humans) and they will still remember whatever they remembered before.

You can read about these fascinating findings in the famous book called "The Holographic Universe" by Michael Talbot which reviews scientific experiments done in the subject.

Moreover, there are laboratory experiments that strongly suggest that the mind and memory are not limited only to the body, that actually they are also outside of our physical body. This is not some spiritual belief or science fiction. This is also discussed in that book.

Brain is the hardware, the rest is pure software

I read the book 7-8 years ago. It had a great influence on me, it is mind shifting and explains so many phenomena that we tend to classify as paranormal, especially the results of the secret experiments of the CIA's project, forgot its name...

Mind and memory

Site www.humanmind.org seems very, very informative and book named 'The Holographic Universe' I desire to obtain for study.
Comments of Alon are nice on memory and mind which creates curiosity to know more about the agency called mind and phenomena of memory.

To me the words "moreover, there are laboratory experiments that strongly suggest that the mind and memory are not limited only to the body, that actually they are outside of our physical body" Make remember the words of Lord Krishna In Bhagavad Geeta when Lord said to His friend Arjuna that you could not remember your previous births but I remembered that thousand and thousands years ago this divine knowledge of geeta was given to Surya.

Point is very striking that mind and body may exist beyond body which may also means that mind and body may exist without body and brain.

We must be true to ourselves; therefore, we must seriously study our scriptures through science in order to gain scientific explanations to the knowledge contained in our olden glorious scriptures.

We must necessarily carry on scientific research on our all the scriptures of world uniformally. We are one stream of humanity and all the religions of the whole world are of ours commonly. So we have to understand common philosophies of all religions and spiritualism through science for the making rich science, philosophy and religion.
