The body is just your entry point to reality

We usually perceive ourselves as a body in the world and try from this perspective to "go out" into what we call "the beyond", to the soul, to let go the world and go beyond it.

This is a fundamental mistake as the point of reference and "mental movement" should be exactly on the opposite direction. We are the soul, the one beyond. The body serves us as an entry point to reality, to the world. We are not the body, it is just a remote agent, a remote-control robot, a representation, an ambassador constructed according to the rules and concepts of this world (in order to function in this world), from the materials of this world (both mental and physical), bearing the limitations of this world. Thus, being an integral entity of this world, it is capable of providing us an entry point into this domain of reality.

Consequently, an important and powerful practice is to mentally adopt this opposite correct direction of "mental movement", to look at this body as an entry point to reality and observe its functionings and whereabouts from that perspective. Then, one should inquire who is this "I" that observes the body as a remote entry point and by that to try a bit by bit to withdraw from this entry point for a while.

This is a good practice to weaken the identification with the body and to abide in the self.

Sounds good, but what if...

Sounds good, but what if I (the soul, not the personal details) am the Reality, and the body is the entry point for the world (the unreality) to appear to Me? ;-).

Nisargadatta: "You are God, the supreme Reality".

I encourage everyone to try this view for awhile... you'll see your attachments diminish, and the Self emerging from the old dualistic "self and other" orientation. But it takes the ability to accept that we are essentially alone. In the Self, there is no other - there is only the Self, encompassing all.

the body

Till we reach to Reality we have to maintain in best way to our body (the Unreality).
This unreality is the source/medium for reality.

Actually, I thought that's what he said, but I may have missed the difference.
I don't know that it's a view anybody can try out for a while, but by looking and questioning the reality of the body perspective mind may naturally build the conviction that one cannot be that, nor anything that can be observed. The attention then naturally 'falls back' into what mind may see as an empty space since there are no objective qualities to the Self for mind to perceive. At this point, mind will come up with many good reasons not to stay in that 'space'. Hehe.

Emphasis and applause

"The body is just the entry point to reality"

This is the best concise definition I have ever heard for our relationship with the body. I couldn't say it better, not a word to add, to change or to drop. This should not be taken lightly because such quality of statements make a transformation in the hearer.

Secondly, the reverse of the mental direction of perspective is a huge emphasis of an error we usually do without noticing - instead of our unaware tendency of trying to go out of the body to the beyond, to be the beyond on the first place and to try to withdraw from the body. We know this very well in our understanding but in practice we usually commit this mistake.

Relationship: Soul + Body

That is the truth my friend. It is as simple as stated.

If I may add please.

Check out the two examples given by My Grand-Master Hazrat Qalander Baba Auliya R.A., and and My Master Hazrat Khwaja Shamsuddin Azeemi:

Qalander Baba gives the analogy of Soul-Body relationship to that of Body to Garment (clothes). He says when we are wearing a shirt, as long as it is on our body, it will move, the sleeves of the shirt will move with the movement of the arms inside. If we remove it and hang it, the shirt will have no movement of its own, but its movement is entirely dependent on the body. Here he says that the Soul & Body share exactly the same relationship. The Soul is the real person and body is nothing but an outer garment, a uniform, a dress, a robe and a medium which the soul wears and uses to display itself in the physical/material realm, in the world.

He further adds and says that we have seen so many dead people in our life, from our family, our friends or strangers on the road or in the hospital or a cemetary. Has a dead body at anytime retaliated, spoken a word, resisted, or fought back? Whether you hit it, burn it, cut it into pieces, abuse it, shout at it; has it ever retaliated? No, never, it never said dont bury me, dont burn me, dont feed me to the birds! This is the truth of the body and soul, in simple words and experience.

My Master Azeemi says:
Confirming the above analogy and example, he gives the example of a Projector and Screen. He says that the Soul-Body works in this mechanism. The Soul is the projected ray of light which passes through from behind the projector, penetrating the Reel with all the characters & moulds, and they travel through the space and project on to the screen. As this ray of light, carrying the characters present in the reel, project on to the screen, the characters come to life by virtue of the same mechanism.

The Soul, as mentioned, has no dimensions, just like light. It is this Soul fed by the Divine Light of God, that gives further life (motion and features) the creatures present as moulds in the Universal Projector, called in Tasawwuf/Sufi Science & Metaphysics "Loh-e-Mahfoodh" or "The Preserved Scripturum". Whatever we are observing in the universe is present in this Slide, and the real soul is working from behind this slide/scripturum.

Further my Master mentions the order our physical creation and display in the following descending order:

- God's Sublime Attributes or Splendour (Noor), when descend create Soul, the Soul in its descending gathers cosmic lights and forms the astral body (Aura: made of lights and colour), this body of Energy/Aura in its last descending order creates and displays the physical body. Therefore, the physical Body is created by Aura and Aura is created by the Soul. That is why in spiritual healing we treat the energy system not the body, whereas, the soul is free of ailments and diseases.

The Soul is controlling its activities from its own Sublime Realm through the above process.

Once I asked my Murshid about the structure of the Soul, he immediately replied saying the soul is just like the image in the television. From a distance it looks like a physical body, when you go and look closer at the TV screen, you will small dots and lines of light forming the image.

He also said once, "The Soul has neither come from anywhere, nor has it gone anywhere". :)

He also said that the Soul is a Single Unit, streaming from one source and passing through infinte moulds and projecting on infinte screens. Just like a TV Station broadcasting a frequency carrying a certain program and displayed on thousands or millions of TV screens. It is relaying itself from up there like a beam of light.

In the Holy Quran, God Says to Prophet Muhammad PBUH,
17:85:"They ask thee concerning the Soul. Say: "The Soul is by command of my Lord: of knowledge it is only a little that is communicated to you, (O men!)"

Soul is the Word of God, HIS Command. And God describes of HIS Command as:
36:82: "Verily, when HE intends a thing, His Command is, "BE", and it is!"
2:117: "To Him is due the primal origin of the heavens and the earth: When He decreeth a matter, He saith to it: "BE," and it is!"
3:47: "She (Mary)said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is!"
3:59: "The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was."
16:40: "For to anything which We have willed, We but say the word, "Be", and it is."
19:35: "It is not befitting to (the majesty of) Allah that He should beget a son. Glory be to Him! when He determines a matter, He only says to it, "Be", and it is."
40:68: "It is He Who gives Life and Death; and when He decides upon an affair, He says to it, "Be", and it is.

Breath of GOD
15:29: "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."
38:72: "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him."

95:4: We have indeed created man in the best of moulds, (Soul)
95:5: and thereafter We reduce him to the lowest of low (BODY)

The above Verses of the Holy Quran are just to illustrate the Power of God's Command "BE". Since the Soul is an inseperable part of God, HIS Breath, therefore, the Soul also possesses the Power of "BE". The Quranic Word is "KUN" - "BE". And this is continuously echoing in the Universe and with each echo it is creating creatures in its path.

If man becomes 'Soul-Conscious', then the same God-Given Power of "BE" can be used by him in creation.

Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) says, "He who knoweth himself, knoweth his God".

I'm sure you all would understand what it means.

Thank you for the facilitation.

Only "GOD" is Knowledgeable,
If i hv done anything good till now THAN
"GOD" is responcible for that,
If i hv done anything wrong till now THAN
"I" or "MIND" or my "MY SELF" is responcible for that,
Only Waiting for the day to be "One" with "HIM"

I'm not sure you go the point

If you think that what the original poster wrote are just subjective observations then I think you completely misunderstood what he meant.

Read it again and check in practice what he suggests there. It's simple and obvious, even through the clouds of conditioning regarding the body.
