Puna Ashram is awful

I was deeply dissapointed by the Osho ashram in Puna. As much as I adore Osho, the place nowadays is not spiritual anymore.

Find yourself.

No matter. Find your own way and go ahead.
Finally, our whole achivement reach to dead.
So do, what you think right with whole responsibility.
Nothin to gain & nothing to loss.
This is my view to life which I follows.

Osho resort

Have you actually been at the Pune resort? Nobody calls it an ashram any more. It is a stunningly beautiful resort for people who want to deepen their "awakening". Unfortunately there are some young indian men who have nothing else in mind than chasing young western girls. They give that place a bad name. But it is not a big problem. The only problem I found for myself was all the fuss they make of Osho. But otherwise I loved the place and it did change my life in many ways. It is a holiday resort with parties, cappucino, lovely food, huge swimming pool, tennis courts....Like Osho himself the resort attracts many people from around the world who would otherwise never come near a "spiritual" place. Yet in a subtle way it changes many people's lives.
You can stay within the resort or you can find a room with a family. Just ask at the german bakery. What you get out of this experience is as usual up to you.

you are right about the place attracting non-spiritual people

you are right about the place attracting non-spiritual people and this is indeed a big advantage of the resort but unfortunately I have noticed that non of them become spiritual. I suspect that it is all the way around, that this is the reason why the place is so non spiritual.

I didn't find the Indian people as the problem there but the westerners who are managing the place and deciding the rules. They ban entrance to veterans who dare to claim that they have underwent any realizations (e.g. Tyuar), the so stupid prohibition on coughing during the night session that causes everybody to think only about the coughing, and the prices.

And above all, there is zero spirit there. People there are not spiritual, they are completely secular, they do not believe in anything supernatural, paranormal, god, call it whatever you like. It is just meditation gymnastic done there if you can call these dynamic exercises meditations. A place of concentration sport.
