Teachings

You are the body, you are the mind, there is nothing but the mind and the body.

The self is just a phantom.

In order to be happy you must resist and reject whatever is. Always insist on trying to change your situation, never surrender, always yearn for something better.

Always compare and make sure you have more than your neighbor.

Lament your past, always plan your future, do not waste your time in being in the boring now.

Do not have trust in anything, especially not in the universe.

The truth lies in duality.

Tania's picture

You are such a pure guru!

It's a Joke!

This is a joke. And so is Surya Amma. Come'on!

Con Opinions

One problem

seeker's picture

There is only one problem I have with Surya Amma: she completely lacks any sense of humor.

Giggle

SriSriYogiBaba's picture

I went to that meeting in Tiru, presuming that it was a joke.
It was, although I'm not sure that she realizes it.

kalgo's picture

Of course she did

Of course she realizes, this was the whole point, origionally. Plus, of course, to see how easily people can blindly follow a bogus guru...

of course

of course I know that you ( she ) realized it, I was joking. Didn't you get it?
I hope that those poor lost innocents ( unless they were just playing a reverse joke) were informed and directed to some real help.

Hmmmn

"I remember one lost soul asking her if he should stare at the sun, she replied " why not, try it..."

Hopefully, she likes lawsuits :-p.
