Biography

Guruji Shri Shriyogeshvaraji was born on 3rd October, 1962 at Kapadvunj, Gujarat State, India. His father was a doctor, Dr. Surendra Premananda Shah and mother Smt. Vanlila Surendra Shah,a Philosophy Graduate from Bomby University then.

In their prime youth the Shah couple had spent some time at Shivananda Ashram Hrishikesh and obtained the divine guidance of Swami Shri Shivanandaji.

Brought up in a highly spiritual environment child Shriyogeshji got an opportunity to have a closer feel of Safron Clothes as his parents' Guruji Shri Swami Sadanada Saraswatiji visited the family frequently. Considering the child's spiritual inclination, Pujya Paad Swami Sadanadaji initiated him at the famous Shakti Pith temple of Shri Ambaji, Gujarat State, India.

Being a creative person at young age Shri Shriyogeshji perceived a career as a filmmaker. Being a Karma Yogi he did not want to escape from the worldly duties and he managed to balance spiritual practices with professional life. Only his very inner circle knew about his spiritual practices. In the course of his life as a film maker he came across many saints during shooting in hills and jungles. Some of them recognized his spiritual capabilities and offered due respect and blessings.

All these years his mother had been closely monitoring his spiritual growth as his Guruji had established Ashrams in Netherlands and U.K. Shriyogesji's Guruji Swami Sadanada Sarawatiji took Maha Samadhi when Shriyogehji was in his early twenties. But he always received the divine guidance by his Pujyapad Shri Guruji as and when needed.

He got married to Jagrutiji belonging to the Nagar Brahmin Community and have a son named Pranshu.

After crossing the age of 35 Shri Shriyogeshwarji started spending more and more time for spiritualism and helping those who wanted to go further on this path of divine. He has his disciples in India, Russia, Ukrain, Israel & USA.
