Just make sure you consume moderate quantities. Only the essential and for the proper reasons.
Constantly verify that the reason you eat is pure nutrition and not out of other needs such as gratification of some mental desires, boredom, anxiety, depression and addiction.
Make it a habit to fast from time to time. Such fasting is called meditation. When you fast, observe your compulsive desire to think.

As Eckhart Tolle, who appears to be one of the wisest people on earth right now once said: Currently mind uses you. Reverse it: Use mind, don't let mind use you.
Use it only when you truly need mind, the same rule as with your cell phone, computer, etc.
Mental bulimia
One of the most severe neurosis of mankind. A car engine in neutral that refuses to stop. Also among spiritual people. They will analyze analyze analyze but will not dare to sit silently even for 5 minutes a day, still, without a move, with no mind.
